The more successful a family is in applying the educational plan, the more it reaps of its beneficial outcomes: in contentedness of the heart, in realizing aspirations and hopes, and in avoiding educational difficulties and troubles, which may be an added burden that impedes our realizing our personal hopes and aspirations, which will distract us from taking care of our children.
Having an educational plan that we follow prudently and shrewdness, spares us a lot of regret, and that when it is too late, and when one can do nothing to put things right – particularly when we remember the new challenges which families face in our present world – with all that in mind, we must seek to seek to be enlightened about the scientific findings in the sphere of education: that will be a great help to enable us to see things for what they are; to learn much about our children, and possess the guiding light to choose that way of treatment which may ensure their success.
The parents get acquainted, as they follow this training portfolio, the more important skills required for raising their children. What we endeavor, through this Course:
That they realize the importance of science for education; and its impact on their personal identity and their mental and behavioral health
We endeavor to have the parents notice the erroneous methods in dealing with children, and the ways of avoiding bad raising patterns.
Enlightening the parents about the developmental characteristics of this particular stage of life (0-7 years), and its requirements.
Introducing them to basic needs of children in this stage of life, and the negative outcome of not satisfying those needs.
Having the parents be acquainted with the ways behavior is shaped, and training them on the more important behavioral-cognitive methods designed to help in altering behavior (initiating and reinforcing proper and desirable behavior; diminishing or eliminating erroneous behavior)
Since parents are the very ‘ideal of real life’, in the eyes of the children, and since they follow the lead of their parents’ deeds, more than following their advice and direction;
We undertook in this Portfolio to help the parents determine the basic values and principles of raising children, and their real consequences (love and warmth; dialogue and listening; guidance and understanding; limits; rewards and penalties; a secure and stable atmosphere.)
Helping the parents realize the importance of their own relations, as man and wife; and their impact on education.
The parents will also be trained to reinforce a secure relationship with the child (secure attachment, secure atmosphere, and secure parting), depending on the child’s stage of life.
They will also be trained in this Portfolio to develop the skills of preserving the child’s safety, and its application; ensuring to the ways of support and protection; and also the most efficient method of using electronic devices, in a way that realizes the advantages and wards of disadvantages.
We endeavor to bring into the parents’ experience this Portfolio’s concepts through training and practical applications, which will bear fruit in the end.
For efficient raising of children by the parents, they need to develop skills that keep advancing the ways of the child’s raising and caring for it; in a way that goes beyond the conventional conception, which used to view the raising of children as confined to feeding the child, housing him/her, and clothing him/her – caring for the child actually encompasses all kinds of interactions, behaviors, and emotions which take place among the members of the family; and also the different patterns of socialization; ways of satisfying the child’s survival needs; and a proactive approach to their problems.
