Developing social responsibility is a religious, social, and human issue, all at once; hence it is a value that requires a great deal of attention, by revealing the negative effects of the narrow, self-regarding viewing of things, when one takes decisions and adopts attitudes, attaching little consideration to the public interest.
In this Axis, our aim is:

To awaken the youth to the impact of the individual and the group on the totality of society; and the relationship between the daily behaviors of the individual and the public interest.

To rid the youth in a practical way from the phenomenon of the ‘careless by-stander’, which is now prevalent in many of the world's societies.

We stress the outcome of those deeds which lead to the rejuvenation of society: that a young person can have a very perceptible impact on the lives of others.

Since developing a sense of social responsibility comes about by way of teaching and education, we undertake through this Axis to help the youngster develop a perspective that takes into account, on the one hand, the individual and his/her interests; but develops, on the other hand, a perception of his/her role in the social rise, and a resolution to uphold his/her responsibilities in connection with that – the idea is to provide the individual with a better distinction between duties and rights, and to enable him/her to strike a balance between this and that.

This course also enables the student to take care of arranging his/her priorities, to suit his/her own interests, without neglecting to serve the public interests and the common good.
We endeavor in this Axis to establish the social responsibility very firmly in the consciousness of the young boys and girls, ensuring that this sense is practiced and exercised in real-life situations. By the end of this Portfolio, the students will have learnt the designing and execution of social initiatives, starting from his/her environment and realities.
