We pray God, the High and Able, that our children grow on the basis of faith and intent on doing what is good.

With this in mind, we have chosen the main notions in connection with faith and worldview;

And we have viewed that in a practical and interactive way.

We endeavor to have those notions translated into behavior, an upgrading of the soul, and a lifestyle, keeping away, as far as possible, from abstract issues.

The Portfolio’s content and the outcome of training:

The youngster will learn the concept of tawhid in the light of ‘ihdina ssirata mustaqim, in a way that winning God’s pleasure is the boy’s and girl’s basis and pivot of their behavior, making sure that he/she is a servant of no one but God, and that must be manifested in their world view, and in their value system, the beacon of their thinking, and the element of upgrading their behavior, so that they are among the successful, both in this world and on the Last Day.

He/she is directed to have love for God and His Messenger, and to reflect on the ways the love for God and His Messenger is manifested “simahum fi wujuhihim min athari ssujud”.

The adolescent learns in a practical way that he/she entrusted with a position of khalifa, viceroy, on the earth – yes, he/she does not possess the world, but he/she is required to develop it and subjugate its potentials and its things for enhancing what is good, for what is better and more durable.

He/she learns the position of ‘trust’, and its manifestations and outcome in a person who takes it quite in earnest.

That religion enhances one’s freedom, but he/she needs to learn how to exercise freedom wisely.

We endeavor in this Axis to strike a balance between what is experienced and what is received from revelation, between God’s revealed Signs (i.e. Verses of the Qur’an) and His Signs in the souls and the regions of the world.

The youngster learns the importance of faith in the Last Day, how this faith will be his/her beacon that directs him/her in their behavior; and, hence, that every human being is responsible and accountable for the good and bad he/she has done.

We strive that these great concepts are conveyed to the youngster in the simplest way, adapting the provision to the age group;

We do our best to draw examples from the student’s own experiences, and we keep inquiring how those concepts may be incorporated into their life in an interactive way, avoiding preaching, parrot memorization, and dictation.

On the other hand, we are careful to call the families to participate in the process, by involving them in activities between the sessions, so that the whole family shares in the process of upgrading.
